DESCRIPCIÓN DEL LIBRO:
En este caso, se partía de dos propuestas con un tema principal: Una conferencia con tono cómico a lo largo de la lectura, donde el protagonista nos habla de la generación del "boom" de los 60 y 70 en España, de sus referentes comunes y sobre todo una devoción lectora y pasión por las aventuras de "Los Cinco" de Enid Blyton. Paralelamente se cuenta la vida de estos chicos, en una primera propuesta "20 años después" y en una segunda "40 años después".
En este caso, se partía de dos propuestas con un tema principal: Una conferencia con tono cómico a lo largo de la lectura, donde el protagonista nos habla de la generación del "boom" de los 60 y 70 en España, de sus referentes comunes y sobre todo una devoción lectora y pasión por las aventuras de "Los Cinco" de Enid Blyton. Paralelamente se cuenta la vida de estos chicos, en una primera propuesta "20 años después" y en una segunda "40 años después".
Un cambio de decisiones finales, tanto del editor como del autor apostaron por una tercera propuesta, un punto que siempre es previsible en este tipo de trabajos. Poder colaborar en el proyecto "Los cinco y yo" fué una gran experiencia.

In this case, there were two proposals with a main theme: A conference with a comic tone throughout the reading, where the protagonist tells us about the "boom" generation of the 60s and 70s in Spain, their common references and above all a reading devotion and passion for the adventures of "The Famous Five" by Enid Blyton. At the same time, the life of these boys is told, in a first proposal "20 years later" and in a second "40 years later".
A change of final decisions, both by the editor and the author, opted for a third proposal, a point that is always predictable in this type of work. Being able to collaborate on the project "The Five and I" was a great experience.

El autor nos comenta que le interesa jugar con el contraste irónico y humorístico del título "Grandes Éxitos"
y la realidad de sus textos que han pasado sin pena ni gloria. Sugiere y aporta una descripción de imágenes validas para la elección final de la ilustración de portada: Un cantante dando un concierto en un auditorio vacío, un profesor dando clase, en un aula donde no hay nadie o con cuatro alumnos medio dormidos.
Un contraste humorístico entre el título y la imagen de un "Gran Fracaso".

Con esta información empiezo la realización de maquetas que encajen con la idea del autor, pasando por propuestas más personales y acabando en la imagen y portada final.

The author tells us that he is interested in playing with the ironic and humorous contrast of the title "Great Successes"and the reality of his texts that have passed without pain or glory. Suggests and provides a description of valid images for the final choice of the cover illustration: A singer giving a concert in an empty auditorium, a teacher giving classes, in a classroom where there is nobody or with four students half asleep.
